About Poll Behavior
Understanding the votes behind the AP Top 25.
What We Do
Poll Behavior is an independent college sports analytics website. We analyze published AP Top 25 ballots to show where voters agree, where their rankings differ, and which teams divide the electorate.
Start with the weekly poll, explore an individual voter’s ballot, or open a team profile to see every vote. Our charts and statistics are calculated from the ballots in our archive.
Our Data and Methods
The current archive covers college football. We retain source records and check every complete poll against AP’s published points, first-place votes, and rankings. The weekly poll selector shows the releases available in the archive.
Our Methodology explains each formula. Unranked teams remain unranked: inclusion and numbered placement are separate measurements. A difference from consensus describes a vote; it does not prove a voter’s motives or predictive accuracy.
Independence and Advertising
Poll Behavior is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Associated Press, the NCAA, any conference, or any school. School marks belong to their respective owners. Permission to use published data does not imply endorsement of our analysis.
Advertising may help fund this site. Advertisements will be labeled and kept separate from the ballot tables. Advertising does not determine the analytics formulas or the rankings we report. Our Privacy page describes the services currently active.
